New Parasitic Draw Remedy: Faulty DCM (Starlink) - Subaru Outback Forums
We have a 2019 Subaru Outback purchased used June 2023 from a Subaru dealer. Battery died repeatedly after getting it home. We put in a new Optima battery even though existing battery had a recent date code. The battery continued to die. We found info online about the DCM being the issue. We pulled the fuse and haven’t had 1 problem since.

Battery upgrade recommendations | Subaru Outback Forums
A Gen 6 (2020+) Outback is Group 47, dimensions 9.5 x 7 x 7.5 inches. Group 34 is 10.25 x 6.8125 x 7.875 inches and will not fit in the Gen 6 battery tray. One Gen 6 Owner put a Group 35 battery in their car, it is taller, but not sure if it's a little too tight to the hood, dimensions 9.5 x 6.75 x 8.50.

Pull the M/B fuse (under the hood) feeding the DCM. 2. If the draw is still present, next pull the fuse feeding the ignition supply to the DCM from the front fuse box. 3. If the draw is still present, pull the fuse feeding the accessory power circuit to the DCM from the front fuse box. 4.
